Have you noticed that Peeps, Easter’s favorite sugar coated bird (and bunnies) are taking over store shelves? They come in pink, white, yellow, lavender, blue and you can choose from one of three yummy flavors–vanilla, strawberry or chocolate.

The first delicious marshmallow delight was created in the early 1950’s  and took a whopping 30 hours to make by hand!! Peeps have come a long way since then and the family run business now makes peeps 24 hours a day, five times a week for a total of 2 billion peeps a year. Now that’s a lot of Peeps!!!
