For the full interview, a view inside our makeup bags and for product recommendations watch the full Facebook LIVE video.

About Face is also offering a $50 discount towards any tween parties/workshops booked today..(regular price is $250) for travel within Westchester, NY (don’t forget to mention BP for your discount!)

BP-Tell us a little bit about the parties and workshops you host?

AF-An About Face party is a makeup workshop, where I come to the home and do a demo in front of the group.  I show a day face and an evening face and then the girls come up with their own makeup bags and we go through them together as a group. We talk about  lifestyle, what works for them, what they should get rid of and which products they are missing. These workshops are excellent for teens because they break bad habits before they start,  learn the order in which to apply products and the best products for their personal regimen.

Our workshops or birthday parties typically cater to 5-15 kids and we can help with any event customization including party favors too!

Another service I offer is the product overhaul where you bring in everything you own–we go through it together and find out whats working and what’s not.  My clients leave with a personalized service which works for the rest of their life!!

BP-Do you have any recommendations for skin care during these colder months?

AF-As the weather transitions from season to season everyone gets a little dehydrated and the best way to calm the dehydration is to exfoliate up to 2 times a week. Its important to get yourself into a routine–using exfoliators, applying an SPF, and using night creams.  You don’t have to spend a ton of money on your skin care they have wonderful things at local drug stores such as CVS.
