Westchester Magazine’s annual Wine & Food Festival took place last week and there is still a buzz surrounding their fun-filled series of events.  From dinners, tastings, seminars and demos featuring chefs, restaurants, sommeliers and wine and spirits makers, we were in culinary heaven!

We were lucky enough to be invited to their Taste & Style launch event at The Westchester Mall to celebrate the debut of their fabulous new upscale dining experience, Savor Westchester with food provided by some of their mouth watering restaurants including Mighty Quinn’s Barbecue, Whitman’s New York, Hai Street Kitchen and Tomato & Co.  After indulging in a plethora of yummy bites (including our favorite popovers from Nordstoms) we enjoyed a variety of other offerings including pamper stations providing massages and makeovers, live fashion shows, shopping and more!

On Sunday June 11th, Booked Parties joined in on the festivities at the mall for Westchester Magazine’s Jr. Chef Experience. Talented Westchester resident, Elizabeth Oakes, winner of the Food Network’s Chopped Junior series was on hand to meet and greet attendees.  Click here to learn more about this amazing 8th grader!  Kids (and adults)  enjoyed cupcake decorating provided by William Sonoma, pizza making from Tomato & Co and meeting some of their favorite Nickelodeon characters. 

Amaze in Pottery, one of Booked Partie’s fabulous Westchester party venues located in Briarcliff Manor provided a pottery painting activity-with kids painting their very own bowl. Guests stopping by the Booked Parties station enjoyed food-inspired activities including creating edible rainbows/clouds and a food inspired word search.
