My sister recently shared this magic microwave recipe with me.  It’s perfect if you are looking for a single serving of cake.  Top it off with a scoop of your favorite ice cream and voila!!!

Here’s what you need:

4 tablespoons of self raising flour

3 tablespoons of oil or butter

3 tablespoons of milk

4 tablespoons of sugar

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

1 egg

3 tablespoons of chocolate chips

Vanilla extract

Directions:

Add all dry ingredients to a large mug and mix well.

Pour in the milk and butter and mix well.  Add the chocolate chips and vanilla.

Put the cup in the microwave and cook on high for three minutes.  The cake will rise to the top of the cup.

Allow to cool and tip onto a plate if necessary. 

Serves two.
