4th July Festivities

Looking for kid friendly fun for your 4th of July party? We’ve got some ideas! Whether you’re the host or a guest, you and your kids will love these easy and patriotic snacks, desserts, and games!

Patriotic Strawberries:

These berries are a sweet treat that’s easy to create! Simply dip fresh strawberries in melted white chocolate, then dip again in blue sprinkles!

Works great with cherries too!

Looking for something healthier?

Try Red White and Blue Yogurt Bites:

 Frozen-Yogurt-Bites-1

These are delicious and easy to make! All you need is Vanilla Greek yogurt (or whatever your favorite flavor is), strawberries and blueberries. First, dice your strawberries and halve your blueberries. Place them in a silicone mold and cover with yogurt. Make sure to put the blueberries round side down. As for the strawberries, dice them into very tiny pieces. Then, leave them in the freezer for about 2 hours and they are ready to eat! You can place them in a bowl sitting on ice so they won’t melt, but they won’t last for long sitting outside of the fridge and freezer, so keep that in mind.

That’s it!

Another simple snack idea is a Magical Fruit Wand:

Fourth-of-July-Wands-2

All you need for these fun snacks are toothpicks, blueberries, and a watermelon. First, cut pieces of watermelon into star shapes, and place on the end of a skewer. Stick on a few blueberries and enjoy these patriotic wands!

Looking for games for your kiddies?

Try a 4th of July Balloon Piñata!

To make these, all you need is red, white and blue balloons, some paint, and candy.

First, blow up the balloons and paint designs (like polka dots or stars) on the balloons, and fill them up with candy. Hang them in your yard and let the fun begin!

Need a game for the day?

Try a Scavenger Hunt!

Simply make a list of sights and activities your kids might seen throughout the day, like the American flag or fireworks, and the kids will start hunting for them!

Want a festive look?

Decorate your lawn with Stars!

4th of July Painted Lawn Stars

All you need is spray paint safe for grass, and cardboard. Cut out star stencils and cutouts using the cardboard, then fill in and outline the stars with red, white and blue spray paint!

Hope you got some ideas that will make your 4th of July party even better!

All of us at Booked Parties wish you a safe and happy Fourth!!!
